Challenge your friends, family, and colleagues to join you in keeping the pedal power going into the fall!
On October 4th and 5th, celebrate commuter cycling at Celebration Stations around the region.

Don’t stop pedaling: Keep up the commuter cycling into the fall and winter!
Together with our community partners, we want to encourage and celebrate your continued efforts to commute to work by bike. Join us at celebration station for food, beverages, and bike community along with lots of prize giveaways. Collect a stamp from each of the 4 celebration stations for more chances to win!
Tuesday October 4th
UVIC – Petch Fountain (view map)
7:30AM – 10AM
We’ll be in our usual spot next to Petch fountain in front of the McPherson Library for the first morning of Bike to Work Days. Food and beverages graciously provided by Save-on-foods University Heights and Starbucks. As usual, our friends from Oak Bay Bikes will be on site to diagnose those creaks and squeaks.
ICA – 930 Balmoral Road (view map)
3:30PM – 6:00PM
Join us Tuesday afternoon at the ICA of Greater Victoria to celebrate diversity, while introducing new Canadians to commuter cycling. Food and drinks generously provided by the Market on Yates, Fig Mediterranean Deli, and Silk Road Tea. The friendly folks from North Park Bicycle Shop will be there to help anyone on two wheels.
Wednesday October 5th
ESQUIMALT – Admirals Rd. @ E&N

On Wednesday morning, we’ll be at the intersection of Admirals Road and the E&N Rail Trail bright and early with our friends from Floyds diner and COBS Bread who will be serving up delicious breakfast sandwiches. We’ll have smiles and Starbucks coffee on hand to put a little pep in your pedal along with the sharp shooters from Trek Bicycle Store of Victoria to help tighten your loose screws.
VIEW ROYAL – Goose @ Atkins

Help us celebrate the marvel of galloping geese on Wednesday afternoon. Meet us along the Galloping Goose trail at the Atkins Road Park’n’Ride, just past the end of the E&N Rail Trail. Refreshments provided by the Market Stores and Davids Tea are sure to tantalize your tastebuds. You can chat with our friends from Bikemaps.org and the GVCC and be amazed by the two wheeled wizardry of the bike masters from Cycles West.
2015 Bike to Work Days: October 6-7
Despite the weather, 350 cyclists joined us for our first year hosting two Fall Bike to Work Days on Oct 6th and 7th.

Similar to spring Bike to Work Week, these days are designed to celebrate those who already pedal 2 wheels and encourage others to try it. Morning and afternoon Celebration Stations are a place for cycle commuters to mingle, be rewarded and encouraged with free snacks, beverages, bike shops, prize draws and fun. No registration necessary. Everything is free!

2014 Fall Bike to Work Day: October 8th
Over 350 cyclists joined us at celebration stations
to enjoy hot Starbucks coffee, COBS scones, Share Organics fruit and Silk Road tea. Oak Bay Bikes and North Park Bike Shop looked over bikes and suggested fall riding gear and wears.
Thank you for celebrating your dedication to cycling with us and encouraging friends & co-workers to get motivated for fall riding…all for free!

20 cyclists took to the streets in the Cruise with Courtesy group ride. From Centennial Square, through downtown, Captain Courtesy respectfully led cyclists to the Switch Bridge Celebration Station. Take the pledge today.
